Hands-on healing, movement instruction, and mindset support that eases your unique pain so you can get your groove back.

In a society that defines success by the number of spinning plates we each keep in the air, it's no wonder that we have lost touch with the sensations in our bodies below the neck. It's only when our shoulders are screaming in agony or our mental ruminations keep us up at night that we stop to really notice the whole of ourselves.

Truth bomb: this happens to me, too.

The good news is that I've learned to prioritize my own care. The small action steps I take each day to be present to my body, mind, and emotions are what save me from collapse.

When I first meet a new client I love to hear about what prompted them to make an appointment. I learn about their relationship with stress, how they do or don't rest, and where they feel discomfort in their bodies.

Then, I ask them one poignant question: "How would you like to feel?"

I'm often met with a blank stare or a "Huh. No one has ever asked me that!"

Feeling better really isn't that hard. It begins with first recognizing the tingles and aches within your human structure and then naming and claiming what you want to be different.

As a licensed massage therapist, yoga teacher, and BodyMind Method Certified Coach based in Kensington, Maryland, I offer a holistic approach to healing that helps you reconnect with your body so that you can define what feeling good means to you.

Be it a need to remind your muscles how to stop hanging on for dear life or breath practices to quiet your frayed nerves, I've got tools and tricks to help you navigate your everyday activities comfortably and with more pleasure!

How I help you find what feels good.

Read What Clients Say About Our Work Together

"Jennifer has been a godsend to me for more than five years as an amazing massage therapist and more recently also as a wellness coach. Her support has lifted my spirit and healed my body. She knows intuitively what I need at every visit. Her suggestions of various exercises and stretches I can do at home have strengthened my muscles and improved my posture and walking ability after back surgery."

Saundra M.

"A debilitating and painful hamstring injury originally brought me to Jennifer in despair. Her superb understanding of anatomy, how the body works, and what happens when you responsively manipulate the muscles and soft tissues made it possible for me to easily sit, stand, and walk again and restored my quality of life. During this process, Jennifer expanded my awareness of the elemental interplay between the body and mind. Our time together moved to another phase and now integrates healing and coaching components. Jennifer is wonderfully intuitive and insightful about when, where, and how I may be stuck or drifting. The beauty of her approach is the way she listens and then guides me in quieting my mind and focusing within my body to draw on those tools that I don’t entirely recognize or fully apply, along with offering practical tips and achievable actions. Her nurturing of an enhanced mind-body connection has opened my path to wellness, balance, and ease, and has been transformative. Jennifer is remarkable: a skilled, compassionate, and genuine healer and coach."

Karen G.

"The greatest gift I gave myself during the pandemic was a weekly private yoga session with Jennifer, in addition to her group classes. In our one-on-one meetings, we would work on whatever the needs of the day presented from power poses to breath work. In addition, my time with her was invaluable during my recovery from breast surgery. My physical therapist and surgeon both commented on how quickly I regained my range of motion and overall strength."
